Don't waste precious time sitting in unproductive meetings. If you're the meeting leader and you don't have a clear purpose for calling a meeting, skip it. Be aware of yourself: don't talk too much or hold back, and definitely be succinct. End with a group evaluation: what went right or wrong? Make a couple of improvements, and if your meeting's only supposed to be 10 minutes long, don't digress into an hour.
