There's nothing wrong with being idealistic about helping the environment. But you may make more of an impact by changing your daily habits with greener ones. Turn off the faucet when washing dishes, brushing your teeth and while scrubbing up in the shower. Learn to use 'gray water' from washing dishes on your plants. Walk to local shops instead of driving to outlet malls. Use washable dishes instead of disposable plates and cups.
