With all the news about bpas in the news, it's a good idea to use only safe plastics (those with the numbers 1, 2, 4 and 5 on the bottom) or to switch to other kinds of materials whenever possible. Try using a steel spatula, a steel water bottle or a wooden spoon instead of their plastic equivalents.
