Forgiveness is the core of your happiness right now. Sure, it feels good to carry around all that anger and resentment for a time, but ask yourself, what's the payoff? Justification? Revenge? Sanctimony? It'll be better for you to seek the common threads. How can you empathize with this person? How can you be of service? Don't dump that inner angst on the perpetrator. You'll only make things worse, especially for yourself.
